GBH-Perfume and Piss CD review

So a lot of people have told me to listen to GBH but I never did get around to it until now. GBH reminds me of a hardcore Rancid. First time listening to the album I thought it was a great punk album. It has fast guitar and fast drum beats. The vocals are very good for a punk band. They are what a punk album should sound like. The opening track “Unique” is one of my favorites already. “You’re not unique, you’re obsolete you won’t last a week, so crawl back under back under your stone” It has catchy guitar riffs and good backing vocals. “San Jose Wind” is another great one because who doesn’t love a song written about Joe Strummer? Reading the little written piece above the lyrics in the booklet really gives insight to why they wrote the song about the deceased Clash singer. Polytoxic is a good ...

ANTI-FLAG- The People or The Gun CD review

Anti- Flag has been one of my favorite bands for awhile. Before this album had come out I was really looking for a band that had a lot of anger and a really raw sounding voice. Anti-Flag previous album The Bright Lights of America was very good but it was not really the punk Anti-Flag I was missing. Anti-Flag has gone back to their roots and made a really good fast paced punk rock album. The first track on the album “Sodom Gomorrah, Washington D.C(Sheep In Shepherd’s Clothing) is a great track. It’s fast and has a great bass line that Chris #2 is known for. I love his raw unchanged vocals on this track. The next track, The Economy Is Suffering…Let It Die is sung by Justin Sane.
