Police responded to a number of incidents, including a shooting, last night...

Just after midnight, police were called to the 500 block of Magnus Avenue, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.  He is in stable condition in hospital, no arrest has been made.

Around 11 o'clock last night a man was hit by a car at Portage Avenue and Gulf Boulevard...he was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.  No word on possible charges being laid against the driver.

Police are also investigating a commerical robbery in the 35 hundred block of Pembina Highway around 10:40 last night.
There were no injuries.
