Lately, protesters have been driving me crazy. Not personally, I guess. I have yet to have anyone protest against me. I'm sure that day is coming though. However, people certainly are angry about a number of issues these days.

Seal hunts, Olympic torch runs, city hall, etc etc

I think the part about these guys that bugs me the most is the smug attitude. They are so convinced that what they have to say is the correct version of things. I hate dealing in absolutes, because it's very rare if anything is black and white. There are always shades of grey, and if you have enough compassion, you can usually see the other guys point of view.

Not protestors. They are 100% convinced that their viewpoint is the only truth out there. It's funny....protestors tend to be "socially aware" and preach tolerance for all. If you have a differing viewpoint however, the tolerance goes out the window. Anyone against them is ignorant, or worse....
