Usually I would say “COME ON! DON’T TRY AND MAKE KIDS BE HEALTHY DURING HALLOWEEN!” But this is actually a pretty cool idea.
The city of Cornwall, Ontario started selling Halloween swim- and-skate passes back in 2012 and since then it’s really taken off.
The passes are sold in packs of 10 for $10 and each pass is good for a child or student admission to a leisure swim or public skate, which usually costs over $3. So it’s a good deal.
If I was a kid, sure, I’d probably rather have candy. But at least it’s for an activity and not just a bag of snap peas.
