Broadway will be closed this weekend for one of Winnipeg’s biggest street parties. Expected to draw some 70,000-plus people The Downtown Winnipeg Biz’s Manyfest is now in its seventh year. From Friday September 8th at 11 am to Sunday the 10th at 6pm, Broadway between Edmonton and Osborne will come alive with music, entertainment, contests and activities.

The Winnipeg Trolley Company will be providing free shuttles from Broadway to The Forks from 11 pm until 1:30 pm. Ciclovia – Between Osborne and Memorial, Bike Polo on Kennedy

A cornerstone of ManyFest, Ciclovia is a celebration of bicycling. Organizers are encouraging people to ride their bikes downtown and have even provided cycling maps. Park your bike at the monitored bike valet while you enjoy the festival on foot. There will be a gear swap, repair, washing and tune-up stations, bike polo and other demos, races, and more.
Giant Movie in the Park – Memorial Park
Sunday 8:00 PM (ish)
One last free outdoor movie to send off summer. Sing will be playing on a giant screen all you need is a blanket or a lawn chair.
Need to Know
Broadway will be closed to vehicular traffic from Saturday at 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM Sunday.
The Bike Valet will keep your bike or stroller safe Friday from 10:30am -11:30pm, Saturday from 10:30am – 11:30pm and Sunday from 7:00am-6:30pm.
While taking an alternative form of transportation is encouraged, there will also be some complimentary parking at five surface lots nearby in addition to regular street parking.
