Kristin stopped in at Crème De L’Essence on Inkster to try their Le Burger Week feature: The Mushroom Creméux. Chef RJ Urbano explained that his burger was inspired by a childhood favourite – DQ’s Mushroom Swiss burger. As of Tuesday, about half way through burger week, the restaurant had pumped out over 500 of these tasty treats.
She is a thing of beauty. A house made patty, on a toasted brioche bun, with smoked bacon and smothered in a creamy four mushroom ragout (locally foraged – chanterelle, lobster, crimini and oyster). The Mushroom Creméux is topped with Swiss cheese, roasted garlic ailoi and shredded iceberg lettuce.
