Are you always craving junk food and not really sure why? Well, it could be all those cookies and donuts you keep in your house. OR it could be your lack of sleep.
According to a recent study in the Journal of Applied Psychology, a restful night is so beneficial that it may get rid of your junk food cravings altogether.
The study, which looked at 235 workers in China, found the more stressed an employee was, the more junk food they would consume unless they had a good night’s sleep the night before.
The study’s co-author says a good night’s sleep can make workers replenished, which may make them more able to deal with stress at work the next day and less vulnerable to stuffing their face with crappy food. Clearly not a direct quote…
So there ya go! If you wanna get off the burgers, get some sleep you animal!
