If you’re one of the people that’s free as a bird for the next week, you may be wondering ‘How do I keep these kids occupied all week so they don’t drive me mental.’
Well the weather IS getting better, so outside is an option, but there’s also some stuff happening around the city that the kids might like more than jumping inpuddles.
The Festival of Fools kicked off at The Forks on Saturday, which is a seven-day free family festival with jugglers, clowns and a swinging trapeze.
Another option for kids is to head to the Manitoba Museum for some activities like a dinosaur dig or race car building.
The museum also has a brand new planetarium show. Or maybe you pawn the kids off and go chill out in the planetarium for the day. That’s works too!
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights has some special programming happening until April 2nd and it’s all included in admission price.
And the always classic Assiniboine Park Zoo. There’s some sort of cat party for three of the four tigers and of course, the polar bears are always a hit.
The first 100 visitors to the zoo each day from March 25 to April 2 receive a voucher for a free popcorn from the Tundra Grill in Journey to Churchill.
Happy Spring Break-ing!
