This past weekend, Dead and Company performed two shows in front of a sold-out crowd at Fenway Park in Boston. On Sunday, Paul’s tour swooped in to town.
Luckily, Bob Weir was still in town and, for the first time ever, the Grateful Dead guitarist and McCartney shared the stage during the encore portion of the latter’s show. They performed Wings’ “Hi Hi Hi” beforeperforming the White Album classic “Helter Skelter.”
And for the bonus? New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was also at the show! During “Helter Skelter,” “Gronk” came out onstage to dance, do some air guitar, and even yell the chorus into the mic. How did he get on stage? No one is really sure…But it was cool!
