About eight prisoners were locked in a holding cell in Weatherford, Texas when the guard who was watching them, slumped over, unconscious.
The inmates began to yell for help but when no one arrived they broke out of their cell. They couldn’t find a pulse on the guard, so they started screaming and making a bunch of noise to alert other officers.
A Sgt. ran downstairs and found the inmates standing over the guard. The officer who found them had a gun, so it’s a good thing he listened to the inmates before just pulling the trigger otherwise, it could’ve been bad.
Deputies then started CPR before paramedics arrived, shocking the guard, who regained a pulse.
This is awesome, but one question: How did these guys get out so easily? I don’t know my way around a holding cell, but I assumed it wasn’t as easy as opening the door…
