Alright, we’re going a little far with phone addiction…
KFC In India is selling customers boxes of food with a built-in phone charger. The chain has launched limited-edition “Watt-A-Box” in Dehli and Mumbai, which will apparently add “as element of utility” to boring old paper boxes. Yeah, that’s what was wrong with the world, boring fast-food containers.
They don’t actually give everyone their order in the charging box, they’re up for grabs through an online contest and some are being gifted to customers at select stores. Still some questions…Do you carry around this chicken box to charge up? Just doesn’t seem to jive.
Why India? Probably because it’s the world’s second-largest smartphone market in the world with 220 million users. A study found Indian people are spending an average of 169 minutes per day on their smartphones.
