A pony dressed up as a unicorn escaped from a child’s birthday party and evaded capture for four hours Wednesday night as California cops chased it from one end of the rainbow to the other.
Drivers reported the white pony — named Juliette — was darting near traffic.
“The calls were coming in as a unicorn running around,” Officer Josh McConnell told NBC Los Angeles.
With the help of a helicopter, police managed to catch up to the magical beast and the story had a happy ending.
“She was kind of running amok in some orchards with some white blooms,” Sandra Boos, whose family owns Juliette, told the TV station. “So, she kind of blended in with the scenery.”
The pony was returned to its family, and they all lived happily ever after.
