A man and woman who first connected randomly on Instagram finally met in person at a California airport, where they got married on the spot.
Erica Harris and Arte Vann exchanged vows and rings last Friday in the middle of LA/Ontario International Airport in Ontario, Calif.
After two years of flirting on the social media site, where they “liked” and commented on each others’ photos, a mutual friend posted: “Why don’t you guys just get hitched already?”
They immediately drew up plans. Vann, 40, gave up his apartment in New York and bought a one-way ticket to California.
When his plane landed, Harris, 36, was there to meet him. They still need a marriage license to make it official, but consider themselves a married couple.
“It seems so crazy, but it’s really a beautiful story,” Harris told ABC News.
“I’m so grateful for the overwhelming love and joy I have in my life, and we want to share it with others.”
