Good luck with that.
Here are some good movies.
IN THE HEART OF THE SEA (RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 11)
It’s Moby Dick with Thor. I know that’s not the plot, but how cool would that be? Maybe we can hope for a third actual Thor movie with that exact plot. Anyhoo. Chris Hemsworth seems to be going all Christian Bale, by losing a BUNCH of weight for this movie. He’s gonna have to build that all back for Avengers movies tho. I always wondered why these guys never did all their muscly movies in one shot, then did all their skinny or fat movies a year later.
THE HATEFUL EIGHT (RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 25)
It’s Quentin Tarentino and Sam Jackson in a Western. What else do you want. Plus it comes out on Christmas. What better way to put all the warmth of the season behind you then two hours of Sam Jackson saying M***** F****r?
CONCUSSION (RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 25)
The movie the NFL doesn’t want you to see. Will Smith plays Bennett Omalu, the doctor who battled with the NFL over the organization’s efforts to keep his discoveries about brain damage suffered by players under wraps. Will Smith is now on Roger Goodell’s list. – JR
