The Manitoba Legislature ended a year-long session on Thursday.
It’s been a debate ever since electronic cigarettes became popular, and the debate is now over. A new law has been passed that bans vaping in indoor public places, except the establishments that sell them.
The Manitoba Legislature also passed a new law regarding vet bills. Now, veterinarians will have to give upfront estimates of their services. No hidden fees is ALWAYS a good thing!
The legislature will break for several days. It will reconvene for the annual throne speech on November 16.
