It’s probably happened to you or someone you know: lost luggage. We all know that sucks because it’s incredibly frustrating having to deal with getting your belongings back after travelling . But there may be one thing slightly more upsetting than that…
A woman took a flight from Edmonton to Kelowna, got her luggage, and opened it to find all of her belongings and then some dirty mens clothing and a few loose beers. She found a pair of pants, one shoe, a pair of slippers, and five cans of Coors Light. Yeah, pretty random and gross.
After discovering the random items, she tweeted WestJet and got a somewhat weird response, especially because she didn’t take a flight from Vegas.
WestJet ended up telling her to contact them and file an online complaint, but she really got no explanation. The airline claimed the woman’s bag was open and the items were laying beside it, so the handlers assumed they came from the open bag and shoved them in. She doesn’t believe that.
