Facebook has seen its share of idiotic users. Whether it’s posting an absolutely ridiculous opinion or posting a picture that ends up getting someone fired, it’s happened. But for some reason people aren’t understanding that it isn’t very smart to post illegal activity on Facebook, because that’s evidence, and you’ll be charged…
Recently, a guy in Manitoba took a video of him driving 190km/h down a highway in his Ford Escape and posted it to Facebook. This is a man in his mid-forties, not a kid in their twenties who just bought a new Subaru.
On a related note, three people stole a woman’s running vehicle out of her daughter’s driveway while she ran into the house, took a selfie in the stolen vehicle, and posted it to Facebook. Well, the woman whose car it was had all of their names and information within a day or so. I guess the lesson here is A) Don’t be a criminal, and B) If you’re going to be a criminal, keep posting your crimes on Facebook, because it’s entertaining.
Not sure which of these is more idiotic. You be the judge!
