The easiest way to describe Hollywood Vampires: A tribute band to dead, drunk friends. Basically it’s Alice Cooper’s idea on how to pay tribute to the people he used to drink with in the ’70s.
Sir Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, and other musicians appear on the album. One thing most of them have in common, they all lost a band member to substance abuse. The album is covers of all their ‘dead drunk friends’ songs. Check out the video of Alice Cooper talking about the album and the Hollywood Vampires cover of The Who’s ‘My Generation’, below.
You can catch Nights With Alice Cooper every week night from 7-10 on 975 BIG FM.
