Pearl Jam is heading on a South American tour beginning in November, and once that wraps up the band will begin work on a brand new studio album according to bassist Jeff Ament who revealed the band’s plans in a new interview with VICE.
Pearl Jam spent 2014 touring extensively in support of Lightning Bolt, the band’s members have shifted focus to their various side projects as of late. Eddie Vedder joined The Who on stage during their most recent American tour and even collaborated with his daughter for a song. Mike McCready reunited with Mad Season for a one-off performance, and recently participated in a tribute concert to Iggy and the Stooges.
Great news from the PJ camp now we have to hope for a 2016 Winnipeg date!
Fingers crossed Pearl Jammers!
