Hi. I’m Jay. I’m a total nerd. When I was 3 I told a nurse I would web her up if she did anything to my newborn twin sisters. My parents must have been so proud.
This. But 3 years old.
Anyway. I’ve loved Spider-Man (yes the hyphen is important) since I was a small child. I loved the 60’s cartoon which I watched everyday. I loved the comics. My Mom and Grandma made me a Spider-Man costume for me for when I was 6. Not for Halloween mind you, FOR DAY TO DAY WEAR AROUND THE HOUSE.
Even this guy thinks that’s too much.
The news that Spidey might become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe made me squeal with delight. That’s not an exaggeration. I squealed.
Heck yes I’m going to add a Spider-Ham reference here.
Been very interested in who they cast for the upcoming movies, and since Spidey may make a cameo in the Civil War movie next year, they had to act quickly. They cast Spider-Man last month, a 19 year old guy named Tom Holland. He looks like a teenage Peter Parker in my opinion.
Then came Aunt May. In the comics, she looked like this:
Finally! An opportunity for an older actress to grab a part that she has aged INTO! Those parts are few and far between for actresses these days. So who did they cast?
Well. She looks…..NOTHING LIKE AUNT MAY?!?! Maybe they’ll put a her in a wig and CGI some wrinkles in there?? Little disappointed, but I’ll wait to see how she does when it hits the screen.
What do you think? Comment away!
The new Spider-man movie hits in July 2017 by the way.
